Import and export: prepare a healthcare sourcing brief
A practical starting point for cross-border healthcare sourcing, documentation and delivery conversations.

Define the goods precisely
Begin with the generic product name, intended application, quantity and approved technical requirement. Include drawings, specifications or existing compatibility information when relevant. A clear description supports the sourcing discussion and helps the parties identify which product and shipment documents need to be reviewed.
Identify the parties and responsibilities
Confirm the buyer, supplier, importer or exporter of record, receiving organisation and logistics contact. Agree who will obtain product information, review permissions, arrange transport and handle arrival formalities. Do not assume that a sourcing conversation includes every cross-border responsibility.
Review documents before committing
Ask for the applicable product, supplier and shipment documentation. Depending on the goods and route, specialist review may be needed for classification, permissions, labelling or other requirements. Use the actual consignment and current rules for that review; a general website guide cannot determine clearance eligibility.
Plan packaging and handling
Confirm the shipping configuration, dimensions, handling restrictions and receiving conditions. Temperature-sensitive healthcare goods need a product-specific plan covering packaging, journey duration, monitoring and handover. Agree the evidence required at receipt and a process for reporting discrepancies.
Make commercial scope explicit
Document the agreed delivery terms, responsibilities, lead-time assumptions, payment terms and exclusions. Clarify whether installation, local service, spare parts or warranty coordination is included. Compare proposals on the full agreed scope instead of relying only on the purchase price.
Connect the next step
ADIRNVM™ can discuss international sourcing, manufacturer coordination and supply documentation around a defined enquiry. Send the product requirement, origin and destination, expected timing and responsible contacts. Any engagement remains subject to the confirmed product, route and applicable requirements.
This guide supports business requirement planning. Product-specific decisions and procurement conditions should be confirmed with the responsible technical team and applicable purchasing process.
